Vehicle was a little dirty on the outside and a cleaning rag and a different set of car keys were left on the inside, but otherwise the pickup and drop off were smooth and the lady who checked us in was super friendly and helpfulReviewed Apr 13 2024

Hertz location on the reservation was permanently closed. There was a sign on the door directing us to another location, so we went there. That place was closed too. Had to go to a third Hertz location to pick up our car. Took 3 hours total. Tried calling Hertz but nobody on the phone knew what was going on, didn't know anything about the closed locations.Reviewed Apr 13 2024

All Bad, never got car, Hertz overbooked had no cars available when I went to pick up car reservation. Hertz said they were 70 cars short when I got to Airport for car pickup. How does this happen, should be illegal! This totally ruined our vacation plans. Never again with Hertz or Kayak!Reviewed Apr 3 2024

Pick up was to say the least, pathetic. I did all of the suggested check in steps ahead of arriving at the counter. Still had to stand in line for 30 minutes, 10 of which were being first in line while 3 agents stared at their screens helping no one else. Then, was told that I would have to wait another 40 minutes to get the vehicle. The only explanation given was that they were backed up in cleaning vehicles.Reviewed Mar 19 2024

We wanted to pick up at the airport but we were given a location much far away from the airport to pick up. when we reached there Mr Jalen attended us. He only asked for the insurance which we denied, he did not give ask about the tolls payment . When I asked for the toll options they told me that i can pay thru the toll app NTTA or The Toll Roads. I opened an account on the toll roads and registered the vehicle along with my credit card info. However, when I wanted to check what has been charged I could not log in and it kept asking all the information again of the vehicle and credit card again. After giving full information it said that vehicle is registered with the corporate so I can not pay it on my account. It is so frustrating. When I asked the attendants at the return she did not know anything about it, Another standby attendant Jasmine came forward and asked me to take the picture of the VIN and other sticker on front and pay thru the NTTP. I tried to log into it but it has asked for the account no which I do not have any so can not use this app. Now I am not sure how the max $ 10 toll will turn out to be from Hertz. Terrible customer service. They allowed me to purchase the car online with only a credit card, showed up to leave the deposit and they refused to take the bank company my credit card is with?!??? Had to waste so much time ubering to a bank just to open an account to deposit money so I could leave the deposit!!!!!! Wtf!!?!? Once I pay, they hand me the key and point outside just saying “it’s the black one” hours later I realize that it’s an electric car. They gave me the car with less than a quarter battery and they provided no help to explain that it needs to be charged. With the battery extremely low, I drove around my area trying to find a charge spot however all locations were occupied. The car then DIES, luckily I’m at a gas station where I had to plug in the adapter inside their store. 2 hours later I have 5% battery that lasted just enough to drive to a car dealership. The car dies in me again. Two hours later they come to me and say it’s up to 13%. Hertz provided no support, yet offered to tow the car, 1 mile for $200 or more to another charger. Frustrated I called and asked to switch for a gas car. Their road side assistance confirmed I could swap and confirmed a new car is available to pick up at another location. I arrive at this location, speaking to the manager who gave no effort to look up my account then just tells me they have no cars available?!??? Extremely upset and stranded at the airport I have them speak to the agent who set up the exchange. The manager walks off and 10 minutes later MAGICALLY they now have a car available.
